As a hugely experienced rider Julia has always been a big enthusiast of the elegance and style of riding side saddle, with a wealth of knowledge on the history, traditions and fashions surrounding it. In her forthright promotion of side saddle with both riders and non-riders alike through lectures and demonstrations she has frequently been asked about being able to help people ride side saddle in distinguished splendour to special events such as weddings, vow renewals and more recently school proms. Taking this from an idea to a possibility has taken time in planning and finding the right horses for the task, but now it is a reality, and Elegance à Cheval is available to you for your big event.
We’ll supply the horses and the experience to "Get you to the Church on Time" or other important event. From the simple elegance of our budget package to the splendour of a period package, with both astride and side saddle riding catered for. We can accommodate providing horses for you or you and your partner to make that fabulous entrance that will give you many happy memories, together with the option of a guard of honour.
You don’t even need to have any riding experience as one of our smart attendants can lead you.
